Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Overview
HuddleSpot, operated by Ideanix Labs Inc, lets you request deletion of your account and the personal data we hold about you, including any data obtained through third-party logins such as Facebook Login. We do not store your Facebook password and only access the basic profile information you authorize.
Before You Delete Your Account
Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate actions. Cancel your platform subscription in account settings and separately cancel recurring purchases with each community builder before requesting deletion. Contact legal@huddlespot.io if you cannot manage platform billing. Deletion ends account access; it does not itself create a refund entitlement or remove outstanding payment obligations. See our platform refund terms.
Keep copies you need or contact us to request access to your data before closure. Requests are subject to verification, applicable law, security restrictions, and other users' rights. Builders must notify members of a planned community closure and address outstanding purchases, delivery obligations, and required refunds.
Delete Your Account In-App
- Sign in to your HuddleSpot account.
- Open Settings → Account.
- Select Delete Account and confirm the request.
- Your account is deactivated immediately and personal data is deleted or anonymized within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
Request Deletion by Email
If you cannot access your account, send a deletion request to legal@huddlespot.io from the email address associated with your HuddleSpot account. Include:
- Your full name on the account
- The email or username used to register
- If you signed up via Facebook, the Facebook display name on the account
We confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 90 days, except for legally required retention.
Revoke Facebook Access
You can also revoke HuddleSpot's access to your Facebook account directly:
- Go to Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Locate HuddleSpot in the list.
- Select Remove. Optionally check “Delete all posts, photos and videos” before confirming.
Revoking access stops further data sharing from Facebook but does not delete data already stored in HuddleSpot. Submit a deletion request above to remove it.
What Gets Deleted
- Profile data (name, email, avatar, bio)
- Account credentials and authentication tokens
- Posts, comments, messages, and uploaded media
- Usage logs and device identifiers tied to your account
This covers data held by HuddleSpot. Community builders may hold independent copies; contact them about those copies and their lawful retention obligations. Records required for tax, fraud prevention, or legal compliance (e.g. invoices) are retained for the period mandated by law and then deleted.
